Endress+Hauser at Hannover Messe 2017 trade fair
At this year’s trade fair in Hannover, Germany, Endress+Hauser will focus on the topic of innovation, both in process automation and the laboratory. A completely new, forward-thinking series of measuring instruments for flow measurement and the new device portfolio for radar level measurement will also be on display, alongside current digitalization possibilities and process automation services. Industrial applications will demonstrate how laboratories and analytical processes are becoming increasingly interconnected.
Measuring devices for the future
The new Proline 300/500 flowmeters represent industry-optimized flow measurement technology with a wider range of applications and improved performance. With Wi-Fi and new device and process diagnostic parameters, measuring points are well-equipped for the future and guarantee high process and product reliability. HistoROM data management and Heartbeat Technology further enhance these devices.
With the addition of Micropilot FMR60, FMR62 and FMR67, our radar measurement capabilities have expanded. They are the first 80 GHz radar devices to be developed according to IEC 61508 and fulfill even the strictest safety requirements.
Thanks to these devices, Endress+Hauser offers a total radar performance of 113 GHz, cleverly alluding to the fact that an individual application does not necessarily require the highest frequency but rather an individual solution and suitable radar frequency, be it 1, 6, 26 or 80 GHz!
Digitalization and services
Endress+Hauser is committed to supporting its customers along the road to digitalization. Tailor-made cloud solutions make use of specific data from production processes and serve to increase efficiency alongside conventional plant topology. At the trade fair stand, application examples from different industry branches will demonstrate the potential benefits of Industry 4.0, such as predictive maintenance or asset management.
With a wide range of services on offer, operators can make the most of their plant’s potential. From planning and engineering through to procurement, installation and commissioning and right up to maintenance and calibration services, Endress+Hauser offers services for the entire life cycle of a plant.
“With the acquisition of Analytik Jena, Kaiser Optical Systems and SpectraSensors, we were able to broaden our analytical process expertise and expand into the laboratory sector,” explains Matthias Altendorf, CEO of the Endress+Hauser Group.
Analytical expertise for processes and laboratories
“We often find ourselves dealing with the same customers in the laboratory industry as in process technology. In future, we would like to be able to support them all the way from the research phase, through product and process development, to production and quality control,” adds the CEO.
