Fitting a new tanker loading station with measuring equipment was a key part of Rhytank AG's request in spring 2015. The re-equipping with the latest technology was initiated to ensure the smooth loading of heating oil and eco heating oil on the new shipping route.

The requirements
An innovative complete system needed to be implemented with high measurement accuracy, product identification and reduced maintenance costs. The tight timetable and coordination of the calibration and tax certification posed additional requirements. Rhytank looked for a competent, reliable and flexible partner to fulfill these requirements. Endress+Hauser was entrusted with the role of complete supplier.

Advice and planning constitute the foundations of every successful solution. In an extensive discussion with the customer, Endress+Hauser was able to clarify questions concerning explosion protection, design approval, place of installation, calibration legislation and customs provisions. The place of assembly for the different components was determined during a plant inspection. This meant that an entire solution concept with a detailed proposal could be presented very quickly.
